The Ilfracombe Academy expects all of its students (Years 7 – 11) to attend school wearing the appropriate uniform, this is to prepare students for the world of work, encourage them to take responsibility and unite our community.  We are really proud of our students and they look incredibly smart in our uniform.  For the full uniform expectations and an example of cost please follow the link at the bottom of the page to view our School Uniform Policy.

If there are any financial problems in purchasing the uniform the school will support those families, please contact your head of year at the school for advice.  Belle’s Place also offer free uniform for the community, every summer they have a specific opening time for Ilfracombe Academy Uniform.

Footwear for the All Weather Pitch

To protect and maintain the high-quality playing surface, approved footwear must be worn at all times. The only footwear permitted is round rubber/plastic moulded studs or metal/plastic screw-in studs (Astroturf trainers, flat trainers, shoes and blades are not allowed for health and safety reasons).

Footwear for the Sports Hall

To protect and maintain the surface, students are expected to wear clean, non-marking indoor trainers. We recommend the following styles of trainers.
